Why Join the Meriden Hall of Fame?
Fifty years ago, a small group of Meriden citizens had a bold idea: that our city deserved its own way of honoring the remarkable people who called it home. That vision became the Meriden Hall of Fame Association — and today, their legacy lives on in the permanent plaques lining the walls of Meriden City Hall and in the annual ceremonies that celebrate a new class of inductees each year, from local heroes to individuals who went on to make their mark on the state, the nation, and the world.
This work doesn't happen on its own. Our board is made up entirely of volunteers who work year-round to preserve Meriden's legacy through the Hall of Fame. If you believe the stories of Meriden's own are worth telling and preserving, we'd love your support. Every donation goes straight to the hard costs — plaques, printing, outreach, ceremony expenses, and more — that make it possible to keep Meriden's story alive for future generations.
